stunningly beautiful and spotless hotel, the staff who served us were excellent co-operating, and it had particularly good location close to everything you need as well. location: the property was next to khiva's old town and the city center and railways station. good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like malika kheivak restaurant that was only 5 minutes' walk away.
Didn’t dislike anything about the property!

My partner and I recently stayed at the charming Carousel hotel for three nights. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a well-functioning air conditioning unit. The thick walls of this former medrese kept us cool, even when temperatures reached +40 outside. The hotel's atmosphere is reminiscent of the tales from 1001 nights, and the proximity to the old town was a major plus. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this unique hotel experience.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city on foot, with all major attractions within walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English, making it easy to communicate and get information about tours and transportation.- One unique advantage was the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel, being an old madrasa renovated, which added to the overall experience.
The cleanliness of the room and bathroom could be improved, as there were issues with garbage not being emptied and lack of proper cleaning. The shower in the bathroom was uncomfortable, with water splashing out and no proper hanger for the showerhead.

During my recent travel to Khiva, I stayed at Carousel Hotel, and I found two features of the hotel to be particularly convenient. the hotel's location was ideal for transit purposes. As the nearest airport was just 33 km away, I found it extremely convenient for catching my onward flight. the hotel was situated in a safe area, providing me with a sense of security during my stay.
This resulted in a somewhat dark atmosphere during the night, which could feel a little uncomfortable.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed with a unique and authentic concept. Each room had its own charm, making it feel like stepping back in time. The inner garden of the hotel was a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful, always finding solutions to our needs. They spoke Turkish and English, which made communication easy. The hotel is conveniently located close to the old town, making it easy to explore. If we visit this city again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
Can't fault the property in any way.

The value for money at this hotel was outstanding, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the main attractions, and the staff treated us with utmost kindness and helpfulness.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be to have more variety of items to choose from.
